WA Online learning tools and sustainability
Dear member association,
I am happy to inform you that in cooperation with World Academy of Sport, we have published two programmes that are directed mainly to your athletes:
- Athlete certificate – 4,5 hour online course for young athletes to give them understanding and tools they need to become successful elite athletes, all participants can download a certificate at the end. If member association is interested, we provide a code which can be used to register up to 100 participants. Deadline to request the code: 15 December 2020. - Postgraduate programme on sports management – fully online program that gives 60 academical credits from the University of London. Next course starts January 2021 and has to be finished within 1-5 years. The normal tuition fee for this course is 3500 GBP. There is one full scholarship available and 10 scholarship for 50% for World Archery members. Deadline to apply: 10 November 2020. For both programmes:
- online modules are in English
- participants can choose when they pass the course modules (self-paced)
You can read more on the programmes and share with your athletes the news article that was published today. As the deadline for scholarship applications is already in 2 weeks, we hope for your quick action to determine possible candidates for postgraduate programme.
